I have started an Instagram!

I’m barely keeping up with our website, with the help of the creator,
With recommendations from the people around me,
I’ve decided to start an Instagram.
So I will build a fun screen, mixing the latest news
with the miracles of my 30-year career as a Hotel Journalist.
Must be a fun screen,
I’m an analogue person,
but everyone, let’s take a world hotel trip together.

北アルプスを望む53500㎡の「安曇野ちひろ公園」には
トットちゃん広場が造られ、
長野電鉄から寄贈された電車が飾ってあります。
トットちゃんがトモエ学園で勉強した教室の電車とほとんど同じだそう、
中には小学校が再現され、
ちひろ美術館の館長である黒柳さんの写真も飾ってあります。

今上映中の映画も見ています。
「みんないっしょだよ、みんないっしょにやるんだよ」という、
学童たちに投げかける小林先生の言葉も素晴らしいです。

今日はクリスマス！
今年のツリーはポインセチア。
そして今年の冬の初冠雪は、ほんの2～3㎝、
昼には消えてしまったはかない雪は、
クリスマスまで持ちませんでした。

Today is Christmas!
This year’s tree is a poinsettia.
And this winter’s first snowfall was just a couple of cm,
The ephemeral snow disappeared by noon,
It didn’t last until Christmas.

ハドスペンハウス（本館）の前景、敷地は東京ドーム87個分、
部屋数は本館以外に点在するものも含め24室のみ。

2023年11月25日～12月2日まで、
東京での前泊と後泊を入れると9日間の英国への旅、
ロンドンで2泊したのは「ドチェスターコレクション」の高級ホテル、
そして車で3時間、
Somerset（サマセット）という小さな田舎町へ向かいました。

泊ったのは「The Newt in Somerset」というエステート、
そこにホテルがあります。
英国の田舎の素晴らしい大自然の景色の中で
温かなもてなしを受け、美味しい食事と高品質の客室、
最高の旅でした！

Countryside in The UK in winter was gorgeous !

25 Nov – 2 Dec 2023,
A nine-day trip to the UK, including a pre and post stay in Tokyo,
Two nights in London were spent at the luxury hotel
of the ‘Dorchester Collection’,
Then we drove three hours to a small country town called Somerset.

We stayed at an estate called ‘The Newt in Somerset’,
The hotel is located there.

It was a great trip!

（左）真ん中の山は安曇野の象徴でもある北アルプス「常念岳」（2857m）　
（右）右は信濃富士と言われる日本二百名山のひとつ「有明山」（2268m）
奥の雪をかぶった山は燕岳、大天井岳。

暑かった夏をもようやく終わり、
秋がきたと思ったら、もう冬です。
新米も、新蕎麦も食べ、今度は鍋でしょうか。
今日は温かくて山に積もった雪も解けそうですが、
移住後、2回目の冬を迎えるにあたり、
新しい冬のブーツやセーターなどを買いこんでます。

Winter arrives in AZUMINO, November 2023.

The hot summer is finally over,
Autumn has arrived and winter is already here.
We have eaten new rice and buckwheat noodles, and now
it’s time for NABE (hot pot).
It is warm today and the snow on the mountains seems to be melting,
This is the second winter since I moved here, from Tokyo.
I am buying new winter boots and jumpers, I’m ready !!!.
