生まれて初めて、この目で見た博多祇園山笠は、
博多の櫛田神社境内に奉納されているもので常設でした。
また、その近くには、｢櫛田の銀杏｣とよばれる樹齢約1000年の銀杏の木が
そびえていて、｢博多祝い歌｣にも謡われている木は、
県の天然記念物でもあるそうです。

Hakata Gion Yamakasa Float at Hakata

For the first time in my life, I saw the biggest Float for Hakata Gion Yamakasa Festival
which is permanent as a display to the Kushida-jinja Shrine at Hakata .

Also, Nearly 1000 year-old gingko tree sits near the float.
It’s called Kushda-no-icho (the gingko of Kushida),
and the tree is used in the line in Hakata-Iwai-Uta (Hakata Celebration Song).
It’s recognized as a prefectural natural treasure as well.

ベトナムの新しいアマンリゾーツ「アマノイ」のジャングルの小径で
見つけたトカゲに目を止めました。
これってトカゲですよね…？

I love also very much Reptiles, during my stay in AMANO’I in Vietnam,
I found a small lizard on the narrow byway in the jungle.
Is this a lizard…??

日本中に甚大な被害をもたらした台風18号、その過ぎ去った夕方、
東京では余りに空が燃えました、6:10 PM。
こんな色は初めてでしたが、何か意味があるのでしょうか…。

Typhoon No.18 has gone and at its sun set in Tokyo

Typhoon No.18 that caused massive damage in all Japan,
We saw a strange and too beautiful sun set like flaming sky at 6:10 PM in Tokyo.
This was the very first time such a strong sunset color, is there any meaning in the Nature?

夏も終わりに近いスイスの8月最終週、東部の町、チーズで有名なアッペンツェル、
そしてレマン湖班の世界遺産になったワイン畑の村々を訪ねました。

そこで出会った自由奔放な猫たちです。

I met the free-wheeling cats in Switzerland

In the final week of August, as the end of summer nears, I visited Appenzell,
the town of eastern Switzerland and famous for its cheese,
and the World Helitage registered villages between vineyards of Lavaux along Lake Geneva.

I met the free-wheeling cats there.
